About Us

Meet Emma (pictured left) and Jorge (pictured right), the inspiration and embodiment of Emma Jorge's Little Titans!

​

Jorge dedicated his life to education, specifically for the early and primary years. The richness of his lessons inspired generations across countries (from Ecuador to Canada) and paved new roads for those thereafter. The generosity of his patience, time, and knowledge equates to the thrill, curiosity, and endeavours lead. Jorge's passion for learning new approaches in child development transcends research and their abilities. His charismatic outlook on life, undoubtedly wrapped in wit and charm, earns him the prestigious title of: The ultimate Titan!

 

Emma teaches us how opportunities ought to be, effortlessly so! She encourages those around her to do better and be better by being resourceful and utilizing her skills to her fullest potential. Emma believes in finding fulfilment through laughter, joy, music and performance. There's no doubt that she'll create special moments for self-discovery. She is the magic, the sparkle, and the light. The ultimate Titan (in training)!

The founders of Emma Jorge's Little Titans!

Melissa (Bachelor of Arts, Child and Youth Care) - Over the years I have trained and studied to grow and develop as a Child and Youth Care Practitioner. My passion for the field of child development has led me to working with children with various disabilities from learning, cognitive and physical. As a Little Titan, I believe in advocating for children and encouraging self-advocacy. I believe in the transformational nature of utilizing daily life events to build genuine, respectful and caring relationships to foster overall growth.

Amanda (Bachelor of Arts, Early Childhood Education) - My admiration for education in the early years significantly increased when I had the opportunity to work alongside professionals such as Teachers, Educational Assistants, ECE's, Occupational Therapists, and Speech and Language Pathologists. This helped merge the theoretical world into the practical in better supporting the youngest learners and understanding their needs; with the appropriate measures in place. I am passionate in nurturing the "whole" child as they develop a strong sense of self and to be present in how they navigate the world through compassion, kindness, and thoughtfulness. To foster early learning is to acknowledge the gift and the privilege behind every discovery, and to celebrate it wholeheartedly. â€‹

This world is a lot better for having our Lito, our Jorge, our Ultimate Titan trailblazing the way.With brilliance, confidence, and strength engrained in our being; we remain the lucky ones.
